| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 7, 2005 The appearance was perhaps the most attractive part of the beer. It poured an auburn body with a creme-colored, thick, head. The flavor was sweet, with minimum hoppiness. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

Poured a very pretty dark ruby body. The head was light tan and large but fades to a trace once you start drinking. The aroma was bubblegum, pears and molasses. The taste is roasted peanut along with toast. There is also a balancing sweet caramel. Best by August 22, 2005. csbosox (1085), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA

Fluffy, lasting head. The nose is vaguely carmel and syrupy. The taste is dominated by malt and some caramel flavors, with something of a bready, slightly sour finish. No bitterness or hop flavors detected. Drinkable, but just barely.
