Hazy brown-amber. Creamy light beige head. Rich malty aroma of caramel, licorice, plums, & port. Medium, juicy feel. Very nice fruity (plums, raisins, cherries) & malty (caramel, molasses, licorice, dark bread) flavour w/ brandy/port edge. Has a xmas cake thing going on. Sweet finish.

color is deep amber, head is decent, beige, aroma is pretty malty, with a very mild hop presence. malts are VERY slight chocolate and roast. flavor is actually moderate roast with a fairly assertive hop presence. this is damn decent and could be drunk on a daily basis.

Malty (caramel, roasted), quite smooth aroma. Clear, red-brown appearance, with an initially brown head. Doesn’t last. Malty, sweet taste. Roasted & caramel. Some fruity notes. One-dimensional. Sticky.

Moderately hazed, reddish brown appearance, decent head formation. Malty, burnt fruit cake aroma. Sweet treacle palate, somewhat oversweet. Bready, fruitcake, slightly charred scones. Well balanced bitter bite in the finish. Found this something of a pleasant surprise, good richness in flavor, sweet for sure but balances out well.

Standard dunkel. Deep red brown color, diminishing head. Malty sweet aroma, taste is much the same. Light bodied and smooth. Decent, but nothing special.

Decent dunkel, no where near Ayinger. OK roasted malt aroma. Dark brown, slightly translucent appearnce with a small light tan head. Sweet syrup, caramel flavor. Kinda bland.
