Bottle. Pours average gold, with an aroma of grain and a slight hint of bourbon. Watery- and when I say watery, I ain’t kidding- mish-mash of corn and grain. Awful mouthfeel. One of the worst tasting beers I’ve ever had.

The aroma smells like corn malt and grassy hops. It’s like an odd interpretation of a Caribbean lager. The appearance is pale gold with a small foamy head. The flavor is salty with toasted corn malt and mild hops. The palate is thin. This is a strange lager that is at the lower end of being drinkable.

Clear gold little head. Sweet aroma with some vanilla, malt and a touch of diactyl. Sweet, dirty, watery, astringent. Not clean in flavor. Not good.

This bottled brew marked bottled on 5/30/06 and best before 5/30/07 from a bottle shop poured a head of foam with a frothy top fine to large sized white colored bubbles that was mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated light yellow colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty astringent and dough. The smooth mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and astringent. A horrible one that I would not buy again.

bought by mscoop for a tuesday throwdown...POURS with a big white head, medium disappation of the foam...skunky corn smell, like an expired heineken....what an ick of a first sip...intresting flavour profile, lots of sweetness!! really muddled...this is a shitty beer...bad, even for a baltika!

Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished with sparse lacing, minimal carbonation, transparent, and a yellow hue. Nose was skunky, hoppy, malty, and some corn. Not very inticing. Flavor was corn, malt and very little hops. Again, not inticing at all. Smooth mouthfeel.

Poured with a medium gold body and a thin white head. The aroma had some sweet carrots and some tomatoes. There was also some light pancakes. The taste has some light potatoes with a little apple core and some grass. Actually, this is not too bad, just a bland pale lager.
