Sep 6, 2006 Yellow beer with fizzy white head. Odd chemical baked bean nose. When had with food it is okay, but on its own the flavors of corn, overcooked green beans and old lemon peel take over. If you drink this, order the pizza ahead of time.

Aug 28, 2006 Despite being in a clear bottle, this was easily the best of the 2,5, and 7 we just got in here. Doesn’t look particularly good but the flavor is pretty smooth and tasty for the style. Not hoppy like a pilsener, but nice nonetheless.

Aug 6, 2006 I think Zolotoe is Russian for Miller. This uninteresting and insipid beer was had at a ecclectic 30th b-day party for a Romanian friend of mine...somehow, this too was invited. I had it in a bottle but I’d classify the aroma as bready and subtle and not in an appealing way. Ther may have been a slightly grassy taste to it as well. the appearance was golden and full. This was a light, uninspired taste that went down unbalanced with a poor aftertaste. It will be a cold Russian winter when I sample this again Хуйня beer!

Jul 22, 2006 A nice, refreshing lager with great, golden look and medium head. Slight hops flavour, almost no bitterness. May seem a bit watery, but is good for the summer.

Jul 14, 2006 Clear bottle. Aroma is grainy with some malt and disgusting reek. Appearance golden with a quickly dissolved head. Taste is intially way too sweet, but that backs off a bit. Still too sweet. I guess this is malty, but it’s thin and sickly, a malt liquor without the teeth. Some weird industy. Finish is warm but not dry. Not really wretched, but I absolutely do no like this.

Jul 8, 2006 Medium gold, a touch fizzy, OK head. Aroma was an almost chemical mess of grains and adjuncts. Flavor unfortunately matched, a lot of corn on the finish. I would be stunned if this didn’t have some corn and rice in it, no matter what this description says. Some hop bitterness, but hard to distinguish between that and the hard bite of the carbonation. Not too good.
