Share by Fidel, nice deep brown pour with a small cream colored head. Nose is sweet maltiness with some dark chocolate. The flavor adds a bit more complexity with some licorice, caramel and dried fruit. Prune like in a good way. Good sippin’ porter!

Deep brown pour with a large beige head. Roasted malts, molasses, milk, a little vanilla, toffee, and I’m pretty sure I picked up some ham as well. I was a little shocked at how one-sided the flavor turned out to be. Very intense molasses, light roasted malts, and some bittersweet cocoa. A bit thin in the mouth. A nice brew but I wish the flavor had the same qualities of the aroma. Still, quote tasty.

Bottle. Very dark pour almost black. Very little head that dissipates. Very sweet malty aroma. Dark rich taste with a dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown-to-black with a tan head. Nose is of roast malt with some smoke. Taste is coffee, chocolate and raisins. Mouthfeel was medium-to-thin and a bit watery. So-so for a porter.

Reddish brown with a slowly diminishing light tan head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts and coffee. Taste of caramel, chocolate, raisons and mild alcohol. Medium body is smooth and creamy but it was a step below some of the better Baltic porters I’ve had recently.

malty aroma with lots with alcohol smell. pours almost black. flavor is smoky, malty and of alcohol. not a bad porter except for the evident alcohol smell and taste.

Bottle, Light cookie aroma with a definite tinge of alcohol. They can keep this beer in Russian. Not worthy of a average of 3.49. This beer basically sucks. Do not believe the hype.
