Full malt flavor but somehow finishes crisp. Subtle but apparent hop aroma and a bitterness that balances the malt perfectly! piscator34 (1121), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Aromas of lightly roasted malts, caramel, and a bit of molasses. Malt forward in the mouth (as expected), but with a surprising amount of caramel. A touch of fruit and toffee as well, along with some black chocolate. The snappy finish makes for a fairly drinkable pint. Pretty good. SaintMatty (1213), Tallinn, Estonia

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 12, 2007 From bottle- poured black as midnight with a thick bubbly head, aroma of darken roasted malts, chocolate, and a hint of sugar. Very nice light brown lacing head. Hits the mouth with a thick heavy malt, many notes of roastedness, coffee, toffee. Finish is lacking for a strong porter, but the alcohol is very well hidden. Beerpagners run from it, but everyone should love this. Aside from the #4, one of their best products. timfoolery (484), California, USA

A very strong porter by comparison, this brew is a full of flavor, but some are muddled by the combination. holdenn (1439), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Bottle. Pours a dark brown black with a tall frothy beige head. Nose is light but malty. With chocolate, dried fruits, and dough. Lightly bitter chocolate is the first flavor with raisins, malt, grain, and molasses. A smooth creaminess balances out the dry bitterness. Decent baltic porter.
