| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2007 500ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a deep black color with a tan sudsy had that lingered for only a short time. The aroma was moderate in strength with roasted malts and molasses. The flavors present were molasses, coffee, chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Hops were well integrated and barely noticeable. The mouthfeel was full, smooth and creamy. The finish was short and clean with just a bit of alcohol showing through. Overall: this is a very good porter. Recommended. pilsnerrogge (1774), Finspång, Sweden
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 18, 2007 bottled Black with a dense head. Sweet aroma with notes of liquorice, black currant and marshmallows. When you taste it you’ll find more sweet liquorice with some shorts notes of coffee. The alcohol gives it a somewhat harsh finish. onlyrocknroll (219), Cork, Ireland

Stonger smokey peat flavour, gaining in intesity towards the finish, roasted flavours are quite subdued, with some coffee flavour. Light to medium body. Ok only. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a deep mahogany colour with a small tan head. The creamy head lasts well. Nice complex flavour (plums, alcohol) that finishes with just a hint of smoke from the roasted malt. Enjoyable. Ansset13 (127), Wilmington, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Pours clear dark brown with a two finger tan head. The nose is bitter chocolate and vinous, with a tiny hint of dark fruit. the flavor is ruled by a vinous bitter flavor touched by dark fruits and possibly chocolate. Overall a complex flavor and a good beer, but I don’t have a milestone to compare it to. DuffMan (2737), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 13, 2007 Clear dark brown with a dense rocky light brown head. Chocolate and raisin aroma. Chocolate is the dominant flavour, rounded out by a sherry-like quality, some rummy fruit-cake tones as well. Medium bodied, medium sweetness, mildly bitter. Flavourful and delicious, but I don’t have the luxury of experience to compare to any other baltics. 37steel (186), St. Charles, Illinois, USA
