Sweet chocolate flavors, with notes of bready yeast, a trace of caramel and licorice. Clean finish. Not as rich and big as expected for a Baltic, but a good beer on it’s own terms. It has a nice sweet aroma with little hints of earthy esthers. The flavor is nice and pretty well balanced as far as a Porter, but not nearly as big as most Baltics. All in all, very nice moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA

Full palate which is nice. Yeasty taste with some roasted malts--but not complex at all. Boutip (2343), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2007 Bottle courtesy of Hogtownharry: Poured a dark black color porter with a nice foamy head with good retention. Aroma of light roasted malt and chocolate is very pleasant and enjoyable. Taste is nice mix between roasted malt with some bitterness and some semi-sweet chocolate finish. Body is about average with some adequate carbonation. Very nice for the style overall and some thing I wouldn’t mind trying again. blinesam (233), USA

Very dark color. Not bitter taste at all, less of a coffee flavor than a regular porter. Very smooth. Quickly fading dark cream colored head. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
