Jan 9, 2007 Fairly weak head, faded quickly. Very malty body with clean finish and a smooth, semi-sweet and chocolately flavor. Not bitter enough. Didn’t impress me much.

Jan 4, 2007 Nice head and color, and the aroma has notes of chocolate. The flavour is quite full, sweet and slightly sour. It lack som power and bite and I would like more character, but I think it would be OK with desert and cake.

My first russian beer at a little bad surprise. I had expectations, but at first it looked good, but the aroma was too sweet. Then the flavor went to sweet licorice and with at thin body with medium bitterness . Not good for a porter.

Dec 8, 2006 Bottle. Deep near black pour with a decent light tan head that dies down, but lasts a little while. Decent lacing. Fruits, chocolate and roasty flavors. Finish is decent, maybe a little weak for a porter. Cheap enough, would drink again.
