Dec 6, 2006 Malty, raisin, cherry, chocolatey aroma. Pours a beautiful dark brown with a nice light brown head. Flavor is kind of roasty, mild sweetness. not too appealing though. Decent beer, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Dec 4, 2006 The aroma is sweet with molasses, cola, and burnt malt. The appearance is dark brown with a foamy head. The flavor has all the elements from the aroma plus a chemical bitterness and a medicinal quality that really hurts it. The palate is thin. It looks like and smells like it’s going to be great but the taste is not even average. Avoid.

Nov 29, 2006 Bottle. Black on the pour with a lively, quick head - good amount of carbonation. Not a terribly thick beer despite the dark color. My first beer of this type (Baltic Porter). Taste is much like that of Baltika 4. Sweet, roasted caramel malts with a fair amount of bitterness at the finish. Not a repeat buy for me as there was nothing noteworthy about this brew. Still, not bad, though.

does not count  Nov 25, 2006 A very black beer, with quick disappearing head. The palate wasa quite clean with a reasonable finnish. The flavour was predominently malt and chocolate. It was a good example of porter.

does not count Nov 23, 2006 Extremely clean nose on this one, with all the aromas blending nicely together. Some light coffee notes, and a mellow alcohol aspect that tickles my nose. Dark fruits notably currents come through too.
Very deep ruby red highlights and brilliant clarity makes this brew pleasing to the eye. A decent level of roast here, along with the warming of the alcohol and a curious tea like hop character that is also noted. The finish is malty/roasty sweet in the flavor. Light-medium in body another smooth drinker. This one I would have to classify as a session Baltic Porter

Nov 20, 2006 Nearly black with a medium tan head, this product has a sweet malty aroma with distinct hoppiness. Taste is roasty with bitter cherries. Not bad. $2/16oz

Nov 16, 2006 bottle. heard some good things about this beer. but tasting it was a "bitter" dissapointment. the bitterness did not let any flavour come out. aroma was non existent. aftertaste was agreeable.

Nov 15, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark brown body with light red tinges around the edge and a fluffy yellow head. The aroma is caramel-esque with chalky tart fruitiness and cookie dough notes. Thick chewy chocolately palate and toasty malts along with some hazelnut. Really I quite enjoyed this- very nice, not over the top, just plain good. It’s also dirt cheap.
