The aroma is sweet and malty with notes of fruit and an underlying raosty bitterness. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty yet bitter and roasty wtih slight chocolate notes. Medium to full bodied and smooth with a slight tingle. Boutip (2390), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Aroma of light roasted malt and chocolate is very pleasant and enjoyable. Taste is nice mix between roasted malt with some bitterness and some semi-sweet chocolate finish. Body is about average with some adequate carbonation. Very nice for the style overall and some thing I wouldn’t mind trying again. badlizard (2380), Berkeley, California, USA

Sweet malty chocolate taste and sweet finish. Not much elses going on with this one, a fairly one dimensional beer. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

The strong Alcohol also was very present. The overall aroma was very reminiscent of a Strong Ale. Lots of fruity esters this was a very good beer. And I hope to share with others this awesome dark Porter from Russia. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Color is dark as dark can be, beneath a big, bubbly, crackling tan head. Aroma is full of cocoa, nuts, and sweet candyish flavors. Medium body, light in texture, but really tasty, rich, satisfying. The ABV is 7%, but I didn’t feel it in the least. Wait a minute...okay, now I do! Very tasty, and a welcome surprise, an excellent porter, an enjoyable beer!
