| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2008 I’m pretty sure I bought this bottle for $1.99, so that alone is worth a few points in the rating... black pour and generous foamy tan head, though it doesn’t last very long. Roasty coffee/caramel aromas with hint of chocolate. More of the same on the palate with a little bit of hops kicking in. A little sweet, perhaps, but a very solid beer. Definitely a good deal.
