Feb 2, 2009 Bottle thanks to my neo-geo.com secret santa Kiselgof. Dark brown with red hints, two fingers of tan head. Fruity roasty aroma, caramel and chocolate. Taste is delicious chocolate and coffee with a lightly bitter finish.

Apr 19, 2009 500ml bottle. Tick and black in colour, almost engine oil like. Mountainous tan head with big frothy bubbles and burnt toffee and malt notes with a hint of coffee. Thick and silky mouthfeel.

Jan 19, 2009 Very smooth Baltic style Porter. Chocolate notes blend well with coffee and toffee. A medium bodied ale with a sweet finish, and has traces of dark fruit and bannana esters. Much less burnt and robust flavors than its American counterparts.

Jul 6, 2003 Initial big head but later all was left was big bubble rings . Aroma is the strongest side of this beer, from sweet apple-orange fruits followed by chocolate and ending with dark malt. Heavy, rich malt, burned roastiness. Interesting approach to Baltic porter style...

Jul 23, 2003 Bottle: dark brown, with light red-brown edges. . . A creamy chocolate-milk head. Nutty chocolate alcohol aroma with hints of milk, wood and clay. A good amount of creamy alcohol on the tongue. . . A mix of bitter cocoa, almonds and some sweet soft pears finish off a very plesant beer, though not as complex as some other baltic porters.

Nov 10, 2006 Bottle, pours very dark black with thick tan head that dissipates fairly quickly. Interesting and pleasant aroma of blackberry, plum and cherry with some mild malt mixed in. Good taste with the dark fruits, malts and some hops coming through in a nice blend. Overall an interesting porter.
