I found this beer very similar to guiness. A dry coffee taste with a unique aftertaste. The color and aroma were nice.

EXTREMELY dry roasted grain throughout every ounce of this beer. Somehow this tastes like Russia. I can almost feel the boiling of Chernobyl in my asophogus and the bread lines leading to my belly. Very mouth filling, covers every inch of the palate; however, the finish is a touch thin and the complete lack of anything sweet makes me a touch ancy. Good though.

Bottled(500ml). -Pours a nice black coloured with medium sized brown head. Nice chocolate licorice nose. Roasted malt and coffee in aroma with pleasant chocolate and cocoa notes. Also very fruity. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Despite 7.0%ABV flavor is quite watery.

Bottle shared with Jerc, GregClow, and Blankboy after MBG 06, Greg’s bottle. Black, frothy tan head. Nice cola and hop aroma - sweet. Nice taste - good hops, thin body, very sweet. A really nice simple solid Baltic porter.

Smells malty, sweet, toffee, bit of cocoa powder, molasses. Taste is sweet caramel, roasted, metallic, bit of fruitiness (reminds me of nectarines for some reason). Nice creamy mouthfeel with a lingering sweetness. I like that sweetness, but wish it had a bit more roastiness to it. Nice beer

Good looking beer. Pretty tasty, if a litttle light on flavor for a porter. Chocolatey malts, short finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown black with a tall frothy beige head. Nose is light but malty. With chocolate, dried fruits, and dough. Lightly bitter chocolate is the first flavor with raisins, malt, grain, and molasses. A smooth creaminess balances out the dry bitterness. Decent baltic porter.
