Oct 15, 2002 Ya gotta love how Baltika numbers all of its beers - it allows me to easily remember which ones I’ve had so far (3,4,6 & 9 if your keeping score at home). A strong, fairly sweet porter that perhaps lacks a little complexity. Raisins, yes.

Apr 26, 2004 Pours deep black with tan head with good density. Aromas of coffee, malt, fruit and chocolate. Flavors are similar with roasted malt, strong coffee, slightly smokey with a bitter finish. Thin mouthfeel with a little bite on the back of the tongue. Overall it is a tasty brew with good malt and hop balance. Coffee aftertaste hangs around a little long though.

Jul 19, 2005 Bottle Poured a deep brown with a full, slightly creamy head. A litter biiter hops and a sweet malt. Nice balance and great winter warmer.

May 5, 2007 500ml bottle. Dark brown hue with a finger width of quickly dissipating beige head. Mild cookie nose. Medium sweet and smooth. Good session brew despite the juice. Mildly lively with roasty cocoa notes and bready malts. Touch of caramel. Easy drinking with good malt palate. Spot on with slick alcohol notes. Oily and sticky. Vanilla notes mixed in with a slight bitterness. Nice and quaffable.

pours opaque with a small khaki head, good lacing.
faint smell that is cocoa, roasted malt, brown sugar.
taste is sweet, milk chocolate, touch of coffee, slightly bitter, leaves the mouth on the dry side.

Nov 11, 2007 Updated: Nov 25, 2007Baltika hits your palate with the tastes of malts, dark sugars, and chocolate. A very strong porter by comparison, this brew is a full of flavor, but some are muddled by the combination.

Oct 10, 2009 Updated: Nov 2, 20091.9pint. Pours blackish/red with a semi thick tan head. Armoa is light roasted malt Some caramel some sweet hops. Flavore Is sweet and light grain, roasted grain, carmel some fruit on the back end. the mouth feel is a light and dry.
A pretty good porter. Would buy again
