| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Been working my way through the beer cellar trying to drink beers that might have low shelf life at 55 degrees. This was there, and poured a light yellow with small white head and little lacing. Nose of light malts and a touch of hops. Light mouthfeel. Flavor was mild. Drinkable, but not by much. demdeac40 (241), Etowah, North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Pours a nice pale yellow with a fluffy, yet quickly disappearing, white head. Very light on the nose with a slight yeasty quality. Watery on the palate with a surprising malt backbone. Finishes a touch sweet. Definitely not the worst beer I have had recently. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 6, 2008 This beer is a little better than their export hell #2. It has a little more punch and hoppy bitterness with aftertaste of grain. There was a faint skunkiness in the nose but nothing approaching some other famous beers. Once again, like other Baltika products, nothing great but not bad either. MexiFinn (44), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Poured from a .5L bottle into a frosty mug, big foamy head... taste is a bit on the grassy / metallic side with an overly sugary-sweet aftertaste, just glad I didn’t buy the 5L mini-keg. Definitely not the worst beer I’ve had... Cheers! weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England

Pours a clear pale golden color with a short lived white head that left no lacing. Aromas of bread and a touch of hops. Flavor is malt dominated sweetness with a nice balanced bitter finish. Light on the palate with a watery texture and lively carbonation. A good lager, especially from a green bottle, you know how they can be. This beer temps me to buy more from this brewery.
