Sweet caramel and spice aroma. Flavor of very light toffee, corn, and almost no hop presence. Very seltzerish, despite the above-average aroma. jimhilt (1679), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 20, 2006 Pours a five finger white head that fades quickly to a ring leaving traces of lace. Chrystal clear amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Skunky nose. Starts sort of sweet, corny/grainy not much flavor. Easy enough to drink on a hot day but I’m glad I bought only one. $1.95 for a 500ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

Sweet nose, sweeter than most I think. Faint whiff of grass and skunk. Semi-sweet grassy flavor, somewhat dry, quick finish, very clean. Not at all corny as I thought it might be. Decent pale lager if you ask me. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Uneventful overall, but totally sessionable.

| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Golden color, aroma of grain and light malt with a bit of sweetness and a slight tinniness.Flavor was on the poor side with a grainy light malt taste something medicinal and unpleasan, just not good at all.I recall when i was there that a colleague could barely get started on this one,i think he had 2 small sips and pitched the rest.I’m a bit more daring and finished mine.Still No good, not sure why but this one just had something that didn’t sit well with me in the taste. The aroma is honey, corny pale malt, with the taste being the same, and a fairly smooth palate. Passable as a lawnmower beer. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 5, 2006 Green bottle. Clear pale yellow with bubbly white head. Light, malty aroma. Tastes of grain and a bit of mash, touch of sweetness, touch of industry. Light body, somewhat crisp, ends on a slightly harsh note. Subdued. Really, not terrible for the style.
