| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 31, 2006 Bottle from Super Saver. Gold pour with fluffy, 2-finger white heaf. The aroma is honey, corny pale malt, with the taste being the same, and a fairly smooth palate. Passable as a lawnmower beer. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 11, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a white head. Lovely and fresh aroma of hops. Very soft and smooth mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a sweet maltiness and a discreet, hoppy finish. Quite a pleasant pale lager. 090506 EithCubes (2167), Indiana, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 5, 2006 Green bottle. Clear pale yellow with bubbly white head. Light, malty aroma. Tastes of grain and a bit of mash, touch of sweetness, touch of industry. Light body, somewhat crisp, ends on a slightly harsh note. Subdued. Really, not terrible for the style. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2006 I think this bottle looks cool, and the beer itself looks quite nice too. same old smell, some but not alot of bitters, leaves good lacing.Taste is a bit weak but i kinda liked it. There are better lagers but a import for this price...in the end, a non offending beer that’s the best baltika so far...the porters a match though..try em all! jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 20, 2006 From a 1pt.9oz. narrow neck green bottle with a best before date on the back label. Made a average lager appearance, poured a clear pale golden yellow with a foamy white head that settled into a thin bubbly lacing, good carbonation. Had a grassy hop nose with a sweet dry pale grainy maltiness. A slick, smooth light-ish medium bodied mouth feel, average drinklability. Dry spicy, grassy hoppy crispness upfront, mellow in it’s bitterness, a dry, sweet grainy maltiness and a dry, crisp grainy finish with some lingering metallic malt notes.
Well, Great Lakes and DAB have nothing to fear from this Dortmunder, like all Baltika beers, average, drinkable at a cheap price.
