Pours a clear golden color with a substantial white head that lasts throughout and leaves excellent lacing on the glass. Sweet grain aroma. Flavor mirrors the aroma with a sweet malty grain-like taste. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Slightly cloying finish. dionysus (109), Arizona, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Basically it’s just a stepped up version of the 5. Same vegetative nose, showing a little caramel, and slight soapy hop note. Flavor is still nothing to write home about. Pretty basic but a much fuller, rounder mouthfeel than it’s little brother. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 26, 2009 Bottle with a pull tab. Pours a very pale straw-colored gold color. Weak aroma of hops, and pretty much as your average lager would smell like. Not a whole lot going on flavor-wise; weak maltiness, little hop presence, and pretty thin. A good pick on a hot day, I guess. Thanks Olga! imdownthepub (5146), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Aug 18, 2009 Bottled, 500ml pull off cap, pasteurised from Tesco in Winchester. Gold, carbonated white head. Very grainy, cheap malt aroma leading to a sweet, malty, thin body, poor and watery. Little to recommend. Dragonblaze99 (349), Greater London, England
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 15, 2009 Grassy aroma. Very pale amber, large head. Flavour is sweetish and very grainy, no hops I can detect. Light bodied, overcarbonated and watery. Finishes grainy. Too watery for my taste. Sigmund (2286), Hafrsfjord, Norway

Very pale yellow colour, big head. Sweetish fruity and grassy aroma, also notes of candy. Sweet flavour, far too sweet for a pale lager, notes of fruit and candy. Low bitterness. Not my kind of beer. johndoughty (2159), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England
