Funny shaped green bottle with a pulltop cap. I haven’t seen one of these on a can in years and never on a bottle. Smells of sugary hay. Clear yellow, medium snow white head, sudsy adherence to the glass. Typical foreign lager flavor of honey and minimal grain, but not sugar sweet as I feared. Slight tart lemon on the palate. Not skunky at all and only a little too sweet. Не плохо!

500 ml can. From Tallinn, Estonia. Clear golden colour with medium-size white head. Aroma is some fruitiness, malts, hints of hoppiness and metallic. Some goes with the flavour. Some fruitiness (can’t say what), malts and crispy hops. I wasn’t expecting much of this, but I’m positively surprized.

Bottle, from Tesco, Grimsby. Pale gold, good lasting fluffy white head and moderate condition. Pleasant malty grain in the nose with a hint of hop fruitiness, soft and malty in the mouth with a suggestion of Germanic hops that remind me of some Franken festbiers, gentle chalky hop notes in the finish but still with lingering sweet graininess.

Pours a light golden color with a white head. Aroma is of grains, and some earth tones. Flavor is about as exciting as the aroma. Nothing impressive.

Heavy straw color. Little aroma, mostly grainy. Taste is a sweet and sour pilsner. Bitter end that fails to quench.

clear yellow gold, medium white head, trace of lace. nose is skunky, malty, earthy, touch of corn. earthy taste offset with sweet malt, perhaps a trace of corn. medium bodied, slightly corny sweet finish. i can see why they want to export this one from russia. but they should consider keeping it in country...it might help the russians remain as depressed as dostoevsky portrays them. single bottle purchased from binny’s orland park.

Bottle from case and keg. Same old song and dance, new number. Golden pour. Smell is grainy and stank. Flavor is stank and grainy. I am frurstrated by the repetitive nature of these beers.
