| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 7, 2007 From bottle- poured transparent golden yellow, minimal head, aroma a bit disheartening- consisting of yeast that was a little old. Hits the mouth with a light body, mild lemon note on the finish with alcohol. Not horribly exciting, but not going to bad mouth it either. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2007 This is a really nice wheat beer, and i’m suprised because so far i’ve been a little disapointed in their beers. Pours clear yellow with a white head that leaves lots of lacing. Big clove nose and mild banana yeast esters. Soft wheat flavor, creamy smooth with a crisp finish. A little watery in the finish on the malts, but overall one of their strongest beers. MadMan (497), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2007 Bottle. Pours a lightly hazy orange color with white slightly creamy head and lively carbonation. Aroma is yeasty and dusty with a fair amount of maltiness and bread and just a hint of citrus. Flavor comes in pretty acidic with lots more citrus here along with some spice and a hint of banana. Very lemony but a good malt wheat character underneath. Medium in body with intense carbonation. Finish is tart, citric, dry, and refreshing. Pretty good stuff. dkoonce (899), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 8, 2007 Bottle. Light straw color and cloudy. Impressive white head that quickly collapses. Spicy wheat aroma. Fairly heavy body for a wheat beer. Clean flavor, with the malt coming through the wheat. stefanje (957), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2007 500 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a yellow gold with just the slightest bit of cloudiness. Head is white and sudsy but fades quickly. Aroma is very weak with just a hint of straw. Flavor is one dimensional--light bananas in a light corn syrup. Mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery with an after-film, the carbonation was light. Finish is light and dry with bananas. Overall, I expect much more in the way of bold flavors from a fine hefe, and while this is a good product it is not a great one. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA
