Of all the Baltikas, I didn’t expect the Wheat to be the great one. Greatness. Rciesla (3645), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

A pale yellow unfiltered beer with a decent sized bubbly white head. Wheat malts on the nose with yeast, banana, bubblegum and faint citrus. Refreshing spritzy mouthfeel with a medium body. Finishes with a banana-like sweetness. A more than decent hefe - if you were served this on a Summer’s day in Munich I’m sure you would have no complaints. Cavie (1427), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Sweet malts on the nose with big citrus notes. Wow very sweet taste, lots of dextrose. Some grain and apple juice taste. Almost cider like in quality. DrHomolka (728), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Bomber-esque bottle. Pours slightly hazy, very pale yellow with a fluffy white head. Too light in color. Who knows how old this thing is and what condition it’s been in. Anyways, aroma is fairly decent, surprisingly, normal hefe smell with some cloves and citrus. Not bad at all. Flavor is in the same ball park but a bit duller. This is a mediocre/decent hefeweizen. Probably a lil better than the ratings indicate and might be good fresh. rhensens (4), Australia does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 28, 2009 500ml bottle nice wheat beer nice head bought it at cool wine shop in hobart, slightly cloudy OleR (2061), Oslo, Norway

A fingerthick cream head over a cloudy, orangey-golden body. Plesant fruit esters up front; banana, tangerine and tropical, followed by a scent of fresh yeast and spices. Sweetish wheaty flavor, light fruity with a certain acidity. Creamy mouthfeel. Filling. Fruity, slight acidic finish. Very refreshing, high drinkability. Good stuff.
