One of the worst of the style I have had. Very bland on all counts. If I hadn’t an idea, I would have guessed it was a plain American beer or even a lighter eastern european Malt Liqour.

Pour is a hazy gold with a huge fluffy head. Aroma was a bit like crackers with a hint of citrus. Flavor was a little sweet for my liking, but still fairly crisp. Nothing special.

Bottled. Clear - until you rotate the bottle (according to instructions) and pour the rest. Large wheat beer head that dwindles but does not disappear. Typical wheat beer smell and aroma. Some fruity hints. Nice thirst quencher.

Pours pretty clear for a hefeweizen with a decent white head. Smells of lemons and some vanilla. Taste is slightly bitter with bananas, apples, grapes and some lemony tinges.

Big white fine-bubbled head, shrinks slowly over a hazy dirty yellow body. Sourish aroma of banana and apples. Sourish, deep taste of dusty grain, notes of banana, with lemony, spicy, bitter aftertaste. Round, mealy mouthfeel. Light, refreshing, and spicy with some character.

You could tell me this is a German hefe-weizen and I would believe you, but you could not convince me that it’s a particularly good one. Yeasty smell, orangey malt/yeast flavor, cloudy as heck if you pour it right (shake the bottle a bit when it’s almost empty to stir up the tasty little critters).

Pours a couldy amber color with a HUGE white head that eventually came down to a ring. Aroma has slight wheat and spices in it, and the same for the flavor. The taste was a bit thin though, it was a very basic hefeweizen. Refreshing and easy to drink, but nothing out of the ordinary here. VERY slight lemon taste, but that was about all the fruitiness that I picked up in this one. Not bad though.
