| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 29, 2005 This took a little getting used to. At first I thought this was a little too full on. Maybe I still do but anyway the body was golden yellow and a little murky at first. Aroma was of cloves and afterwards some banana. The taste of cloves, sweet, it softens a bit once you get into it, all up it turned out ok just a little full on at first. Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2005 pours a bit of a cloudy yellow, i swirled and dumped all the goodies into this one. giant white head. nice banana and lemon aroma with a biscuit note. sweet banana taste that does not have any spice to it. some clove is noticeable on the back of this one. enjoyable brew. really hits the spot after 2 hours of beer shopping in the texas heat. something a bit chalky in mid taste here, but other than that a nice beer. freekyp (907), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2005 A Russian beer n the style of a Bavarian Hefeweizen. Hmmm. Not expecting much, I was pleasantly suprised to find a well rounded quenching wheat beer. Clove plays a strong role mixing with the banana character quite well. A slightly tart finish wraps things up. Would be a good hot weather session beer. Bring it to your next BBQ. Nuffield (2749), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 20, 2005 Not the best hefe in the world, but this was easily enjoyable on a hot Texas day. Pours a nice cloudy off-yellow with a dense white froth, clinging all the way down. The aroma and flavor are muted, even as it warmed, but there was a good dose of banana and some other very sweet fruit, with just a slight touch of spices, particularly clove. Good frothy palate. For the price ($1.49) for this size bottle, it’s a good value and definitely worth having around the house for a lawnmower beer. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 18, 2005 This bottled brew poured a very large sized head of white colored frothy fine to large sized long lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent carbonated yellow colored body. Its aroma contained malt hop astringent vinous honey and floral notes. The mouth feel was smooth and mild with a good tingle from start to finish. The flavor was also mildly vinous with malt hop bread notes and a mild malt bite in the finish. Sigmund (2306), Hafrsfjord, Norway
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2005 330 ml bottle, now available in Norway. Some sediment in bottle, pours with a typical enormous weissbier head. Pale straw coloured, just a slight haziness. Strong typical hefe-weissbier aroma, distinct cloves and banana-flavoured sweets, very nice. Light bodied, thinner mouthfeel than many German hefe-weissbiers, but refreshing. Cloves and moderate hops in the aftertaste. Not bad for a Russian macro brewery. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 10, 2005 Pale and hazy, but not cloudy, with a 1" thick, pillowy white head. Spicy banana aroma with a hint of soap. Clean and slightly sharp and tart in finish with a mild flavor profile. Banana esters and a little vanilla. Not bad for a Russian Hefe.
