...weird bottle. Poured a cloudy light orange, with a nice creamy head that lasted all the way. On ther nose were great wheat notes, citrus, and clove. Flavors were yeasty and wheaty, with nice clove spicyness, and a great hint of citrus. Slightly fruity, with a nice malt flavor. Medium bodied, creamy consistancy with a nice dry, spicy finish. I was impressed with this, especially coming from Russia. It was a good find at Dan Murphy’s, I was surprised.

Bottle thanks to my neo-geo.com secret santa Kiselgof. Whitish orange, very hazy thick finger of fine white foam. A spice and sour citrus aroma, musty wheat. Taste is smooth, citrus oranges, and a strange spiciness that seems more from the yeast than coriander. Banana fruitiness and a dry finish.

Very hazy orangish golden coloured body with a very nice dense pale white head and TONS of suspended particles floating. Aroma of wheat, honey, corn, coriander seed and a bit of cloves. Pretty nice so far! Medium-bodied; Mild wheatie flavour with yeast very noticeable and a very smooth freshness, from the coriander seed. Aftertaste mellow and smooth - some sweetness noticeable, but mostly malty. Overall, a pretty good wheat - very good, factoring in where it’s from! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 10-July-2005 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

500ml bottle. Pours with a huge rocky white head that seems to crackle as it settles. Pale yellow in colour with a reasonably clear appearance. Malty aroma and good taste of banana.

500 ml bottle. From Latvia. Pale hazy golden yellow colour with thin and long lasting white head. Looks more like Kristallklar than Hefeweizen. Very nice banana and citrus aroma. Lots of banana. Sweet flavour is also banana but less hefeweizen. Kind of artificial finishing. After all I might have another one.

Pours a hazy yellow with generous foam. Taste, of light banana and clove, is crisp and clean. Little aftertaste. I like this one a lot. Very good for a hefeweizen.
