Botte as shown. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a strong clove and banana wheat. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is very sweet at first with a lot of citrus and lemon. A decent hefe from Baltika.

Tangy wheat aroma. Cloudy pale golden color with a medium white head. Light wheat and very mild bitterness in the beginning. Fading in the finish and getting slightly sweeter.

Bottle (Marked bottled 07.07.07 & Best By 07.04.08). Poured a hazy yellow with a very fizzy white head that disappeared in seconds. Initial aroma of vegetables but then goes to clove, wheat and light lemon as it warms. The flavor had sweet caramel malt and wheat. Light to medium body, fizzy carbonation, dry finish.

It’s avery basic wheat beer. I usually prefer my wheat ales to be spiced in someway preferably corriander, lemon zest. Leinys sunset wheat comes to mind. This is just basic wheat malt and hops. Not offensive just nothing to speak of.

I was a little dissapointed in this beer. I generally like wheat beers but this was just didn’t do it for me. Very cloudy yellow with a somewhat citrus taste. I would definitely say that I like Russian women better than Russian beer.

Bottle Manas AB Kyrgystan. Tastes just like Franziskaner so I was happy. Maybe not quite as smooth but a solid wheat regardless. Cheap too.

Hazy yellow with a tinge of orange in color. Sweet and citrusy flavors dominate. Smooth wheaty feel. Nothing extraordinary, but tasty with a citrus finish.
