Poured a clear yellow color with an off white head. Aroma was of corn, malts and grass. Flavor was also very grassy with the alcohol showing through a bit. Not great, but better than the ratings would suggest.

Bottle 0,5l. Pale golden colored. A huge white fluffy head that lasted a few minutes. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet fruity flavor - almost like sherry. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet and boozy with caramel notes. Life is to short for European Strong Lagers...

It greets you with a stinky nose of fuesal corn, a malt liquor resemblance that it doesn’t try to hide... the origins of the Great American Malt Liquor, this stuff is culturally pure. Heavy, stinky, challenging, the wet fuel and hints of fermented potatoes and sake hit the nose like a wrecking ball. Heavy, sickly sweet, and just generally unpleasent, you can’t help but be impressed. You’re proud of yourself for drinking it, for beating it.

Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop Downtown Charlottesville. Very light and pale orangish yellow with a huge head, but little lacing or retention. Bitter, citrus and grassy aroma. This beer is freaking sweet... high fructose corn syrup kinda sweet. I guess the maltose syrup listed in the ingredients on the bottle is responsible for that. Cloying and overwhelming. Bleh.

Nice creamy head. Good flavor with a nice malty bite to it. Went really good with a chunk of Irish White Cheddar.
