The taste was that of malted grain and maybe vodka. This was like drinking malted grains of some kind, don’t know if it was barley or what, with several shots of rum or vodka in it. Glad I only purchased one bottle of this because for the price I would hate pouring more than one bottle down the drain. This is my first Russian brew and now I am scared to try any more of them.

Poured a clear light gold, white head, low retention......Aroma of, actually, Im not sure.....I smelled rubbing alcohol, I know that...Flavor was very sweet, but I don’t detect any hops to balance it out.....Actually I was tasting corn and a taste a bad whisky for some reason.....palate is medium with medium-high carbonation......This thing is just nasty, perhaps it can compete with Steel Reserve???? Just nasty....I have gone through half the bottle and Im not going any further....sometimes rating beers really hits hard..... daniele (1756), Italy

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 17, 2008 This beer pours a pale yellow in colour, and a small lightly frothed head, aroma is slightly reminiscent of lemons but more noticeably corn and almonds. Taste was dissapointing overall. desurfer (1069), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA

Flavor is sweet and stale with lots of burning alcohol. Finishes cloying and syrupy. Makes me sick to my stomach. Pretty nasty; a rare drain pour for me.
