Has a strange sweet taste to a beer that I thought would be more crisp and clean tasting, stick to the hard stuff with Russia. AgentSteve (1378), SF Bay Area, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Pours like MGD. Smells like Heine. The flavor, was surprisingly decent. It’s a touch sweet, a tad creamy, and all around pretty good. I honestly figured it would be drain pour, but I wanted a beer from Russia, and this one was a surprise. Then again, I have a major sweet tooth. :-) chandler0201 (358), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Smells and tastes like a slightly sweeter than usual malt liquor, ugh! At least it has a high alcohol content... Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Slightly sweet honey fruit grain aroma, guess aroma is not a big deal in Russia, taste has up front honey sweetness, just enough bitterness so that the sweetness isn’t to overwhelming, light bodied for an 8% brew, the ladies might enjoy the sweetness, somewhat one dimensional Rynoplasty (544), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
