Poured golden body with smaller white head. Nice malty aroma, some honey and nuts. Flavor quite pleasant, malty, honey sweetish and full bodied. Moderate carbonated, with oily texture. Alcohol is not felt too much. Finish is pleasant, following the flavor, nice and quite long. Although nothing special, this was very nice surprise as actually it’s a good beer to me. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Golden blond coloured beer with some light carbonation and a rather small white head. Malty and light fruity aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is bitter malty, with a strong alcoholic finish. Medium one. grant (792), Long Beach, CA/Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Light caramel color, moderate but fading head development. Lightly sweet, doughy aroma, also with quite a soy sauce note. Syrupy sweet flavor, light herbal-spicy hops, more soy sauce. Rather unpleasantly present ethanol. Slight edgy bitterness at the finish. Not majorly flawed, but not in any manner enjoyable. Zinister (1199), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Can. Golden color with thin head. Nose of corn and sweetness. Taste is a sweet corny flavor mixed with ripe vegetables. Strangely it’s the perfect beer right now...but it is still not good. zebracakes (1215), Washington DC, USA

Because it’s cheap and will get you nicely buzzed. Somehow in the darkness of that dive bar, 9 just seems to make sense.
The beer tastes malty and the alcohol is not well blended. I wouldn’t drink this beer outside of Gooski’s.

Pours a clear golden with a medium white head and a sharp alcoholic smell. The taste is a mix of sweet malt and strong alcohol, almost unpleasant to drink. I didn’t really like it
