Krepkoe (which means strong in Russian) is not on the label and the photo is not the same as what I tried. The extra lager I had was pretty gross. The aroma was a nice lemon. It was very clear, pale yellow with a bubbly head. It was entirely too sweet for a lager. It tasted like hoppy lemonade with way too much sugar. A decent vanilla taste is left on the palate. Has some nice qualities but gross flavor for a beer.

Pours morning urine yellow with big foamy white head. Sickeningly sweet. So sweet I couldn’t finish a 16.9oz bottle. Most of it went down the drain.

Pours light golden, with a large foamy white head. Lightly sweet, fruity aroma. Flavor is also a bit fruity, and slightly acidic, with a light hint of alcohol. Palate is medium, dry, and average. Better than alot of lagers, but a weird overall balance.

Not bad at all. Alcohol is well-hidden. Aroma is sweet with a hint of that funk-nasty cheap lager aroma. Flavor is smooth and crisp: Sweet malty flavor with a nice hop twinge at the end. Ending is crisp and dry with a hint of toast.

the only good thing about this is that the 8% alcohol isnt real obvious. other than that it’s a boring, bland beer. not much flavor or aroma to speak of. Zzzzzzz.....
