Baltika 9 Krepkoe (Strong)

Bottle has EXTRA LAGER 8% ABV. Pours a golden yellow with a short lived head. A sweet lght flavor of malt, this goes down well for a strong lager.

Imported Bud. Yuck!

Pours a hazy deep golden color with a foamy white head. Aroma is malt, spices, fruits. Flavor is sweet, phenolic, spices, spices, cereal and slightly metallic. Decent for what it is.

Bottle. Pours golden and yellow, like straw, with a medium bubbly white head. Some sweet-smelling malts in the aroma, maybe a coppery/metallic note, but not much else. Flavor of sweet malt with some alcohol, fading to bitter alcohol. This kind of reminds me of a watered-down malt liquor.

Poured golden with a modest white head and a pabst aroma. It’s a little light on malt and heavy on syrup. Not a recipe for success. There is some astringent hop bitterness at the finish.

I was curious to try the beer after a recommendation from a friend. Poured a golden color with a reasonable white head that left a lace which remained for a short time. Overall, not a great beer in my opinion, but the price of it was good.

Feel guilty for drinking this one. Like I should be down on the corner mooching smokey treats and coins. This poured with a medium to small white head and a little lace. Aroma was fairly mild and a little beery. Flavor is massively sweet and just a hint of beer and I guess malt. Lots of booze. Finish is a little like circus peanuts. And I wish, more forgettable.

Has a cheap beer aroma like a Pabst or Schlitz. While it has a relatively long lasting flavor, its not one that you want to stick around. Very pungent taste and is difficult to finish.
