Grassy nose, but also corny, very corny. Sweetish grassy start, however the corn aspect creeps up quickly. ABV is well hidden. This one has a sweet malt finish, grassy, that to me seems fairly clean. Not bad, boring, but certainly non-offensive. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Not bad, but too much like a souped up BMC to me.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 15, 2006 500 ml bottle. Pours a pale yellow, clear, with a small thin film of white head and lots of fizzy visible carbonation. Very corny and vegetal aroma, a little alcohol, and some water. Thick and heavy alcohol flavor at first followed by lots of corn and grainy pale malts. Mouthfeel is pretty thick and viscous up front, but fades to a watery and fizzy mess in the finish. This was my least favorite of the Baltika so far. Lots of alcohol, and that’s about it. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 8, 2006 pretty crappy all around. definitely hoppy, which is to it’s advantage, but the corn adjuncts are readily accessible. lots of alcohol, little going on. i compared it to fff’s dolemite, but to be fair i hardly remember that libation. this was, as a friend mentioned, a lot better than a steel reserve given its abv. but i probably would have had a hard time drinking more than the 6oz i had of it. eaglefan538 (2383), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 6, 2006 Poured a crystal clear pale yellow color with a small head that disappeared quickly. The lacing was very minimal. The aroma was interesting, somewhat sweet and lightly fruited. Flavor was somewhat corn / adjunct flavored with some grassiness and metallic flavors. Honestly, this isn’t too far off from the pale lagers, other than the fact that it is high in alcohol content. Mouthfeel is moderate, however. yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA

Malt liqour flavor and a good alcohol hit. A little better than most American malt liqours. Sweet and corn and alcohol. At least its drinkable, cant say that for Schlitz Malt Liqour or Colt 45. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Golden color, small white head.Aroma of corn and grain with the alcohol definately showing itself.Flavor was kind of sweet and sort of hung on the pallate a bit.Corny for sure with a bit of graininess and the hops are faint, gives a slight burn on the way down but not to bad.I love Malt liquors and this one is decent but not great but, better then alot of American versions i’ve tried,it works for me. demitriustown (700), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jun 3, 2006 Pours a clear straw with a large quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is mildly malty, corn, with lemon undertones. Flavor consists of a grainy element, corn, very mild lemon notes, and something artificial. Palate is watery and ever so slightly bitter, Overall, eh...it’s OK more palatable than some other malt liquors. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | May 31, 2006 Krepkoe sounds a lot like crapco... which is fitting because that’s what this is. Couldn’t finish it, rancid plastic and vomit mixed with rotting apples. I’ll pass.
