Pops brought this home in a huge 51 oz. bottle. so we split it:) It poured a medium yellow, with 1 inch head, and it had a sweet aroma. Well, I did some research, I think it’s safe to say that this is the equivalent of a European malt liquor, with it’s sweetness, and high ABV. It was ok, but I don’t think I would get it again. Cheers!

Bottle. Stinks! Smells like toliet water mixed with skunked malt liquor. If I wanted malt liquor, I would’ve bought Schlitz. Also very, very sweet. Not very impressed.

500 mL bottle purchased at Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a hazy gold color with a thin off white head. The aroma was alcohol. The flavor was very sweet malt and a slight bitter, grassy finish.

Old russian buddy; 1.5l bottle. hazy, thick golden bronze pour. minimal head, nose is sweet alcohol and malt. Taste is smooth and ridiculously sweet and syrupy. Warming and hot, definitely thicker than you’d believe. Nice strong lager.

Bottle 1pint poured a watery unlaced nothingness into my glass. The upside it the alc. content of 8% is fairly masked but no taste comes through.

Pours a clear very light gold color with the smallest amount of visible carbonation and a tiny white head. Aroma is almost as thin as the appearance. There is some malt and some honey. Flavor is malt, sugar, wood, and a good amount of alcohol. Charred wood and pepper bitterness. Too much malt sugar. No wonder Russians drink vodka.
