Very strong lager, pale, yellow and fizzy with strong presence of alcohol both in smell and taste

Called Extra Lager 9, and it claims to have 9% alcohol. Mediocre label. Plain dark tan brew. Surprisingly fresh, floral, matly smell for such a cheap brew (2 $US for a 50 ounce bottle!). Unpleasantly sweet taste, like a bottom shelf pilsner with a dash of rotgut booze tossed in. Not good, but it scores high in terms of cost efficiency for alcohol delivery.

slightly sweet metallic vodka flavor? pretty sure this is not what Im looking for. - drainpour - Its only 8%, but is that just the raw alcohol flavor coming thru?

As "Baltika Extra Lager 9"; Quite a strong lager for being so light. The other aspects of it aren’t so great, though it does have the benefit of being a little scotch-ale-esque both in flavor and in finish. Not great, but decent overall.

50 cl bottle. Not as bad as some of these reviews make it out to be. A dark gold lager, slight sweetness to it. I don’t expect big taste out of a lager, and this is nice that it packs a good ABV punch. I won’t stock up on it, but it’s not a drain pour either. Is Baltika *Budweiser* in Russian?

Not very good, but smooth. Nothing special here. kind of sweet. Pours light golden with a medium head.
