I totally agree with the "commercial descrition": sweetish, soft malt flavour, very pleasant and easy to drink. very light flavour for its 8 ABV. Golden colour with barely no foam. Light-medium body, pleasantly long finish. Indeed a worth-to-be-tried beer. Althought be careful: this is the first time I rate a beer here, so I’m not confident about the grades I gave..

Bottle 500ml. @ Tasting by Maria.
Clear light medium to yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt, fruit, malt syrup. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, alcohol - spicy burn. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20091015]

Russia’s version of Bull Ice. 9%. The best thing about this beer is the bottle. 51oz plastic with a screw cap. $2.99 price tag stuck to that. I wish I could get a liver that cheap!

Bottle. Pours light golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is dominated by corn sweetness. Flavor is more of the same with some unpleasant bitterness, some nasty chemical notes, and, of course, alcohol. Lingering aftertaste is equal parts skunky sweetness and bitterness. Nothing subtle about it -- that’s one rough beer.

Bottle. Pale golden pour with a fluffy white head that lasts a while. Aroma is grainy and a bit skunky with a hint of grassy, citrusy hops. Flavour is about the same as the aroma but sweeter and with a metallic undertone that isn’t very nice. This is one beer that needs to be drunk very cold as it gets worse the more it warms. Pretty bad.

16.9 oz very exciting beer- I kind of expected it to be bitter....very sweet which is mosdef. up my alley. It looks a lot like domestic brew, but tastes like champagne

It’s golden with a white head and the aroma has notes of malt, flower and spicy alcohol. The flavor is sweet with clear notes of alcohol (warming) and malt and light flower. The alcohol is a bit too dominating IMO.

Bottle. Light / pale yellow. Aroma is reasonably fresh, sweet, corn, malt. Guessing this one will be indistinguishable from the Baltika 3....Bingo. Same flavor profile, very sweet, no hoppiness. An off bitterness lingers at the end, which competes with the over the top sugary sweet finish. Nobody’s a winner of that competition.
