tgncc (796), Bellmore, New York, USA Oct 27, 2009 Sweet, corn, grain on the nose. The appearance is true to the style, piss yellow, white head. The flavor is sweet, corn, rice. Adjunct stew. The finish is a light bittering of nobel hops. Not good, ok for what it is. NJBeerman013 (764), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Sep 12, 2009 50 cl bottle. Pours a warm yellow in color. Has a light, grainy nose, with hints of fruit. The flavor is light and unoffensive. Notes of grains, grass, and fruit juice. Finish is a little cloying but not bothersome. I have had a lot worse. zvikar (413), Tel-Aviv, Israel Aug 30, 2009 50cl Bottle, Pours golden with a medium white head, aroma is grainy with some honey, orange juice and grass, grainy flavor with some corn, vanilla and grassy hoppy finish, medium body. Not Bad blipp (1630), Newark, New Jersey, USA Jul 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malt aroma, a bit of straw. The flavor isn’t overly offensive, with some grainy malt, straw, grass, and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Decent for a pale lager. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Jul 7, 2009 Glass bottle split with curly at woody’s. Best by date of 4.10.07. Personally, I don’t think the age really hurt this all that much. It just wasn’t that great to start. Pours a clear dull golden color with traces of near white head. Aroma of sweet vanilla and honey and grain. Flavor is not quite as appealing. Similar to other Euro strong lagers, with some pepper and spicy hop that has faded.A little metallic twinge on the finish. About on par for a Russian Budlight equivalent. Barrios (852), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jul 6, 2009 Glass bottle. Pours a white head with legs and a clear straw color body. Smells of cheap grains and apples. Tastes the same. Nothing remarkable. guzzler67 (1272), Hanover, Maryland, USA Jul 3, 2009 Clear, golden amber appearance with a small white head and little lacing. Vegetal aroma is a bit disconcerting; some sweet malts back it up. Sweet, non descript, inoffensive taste with a restrained hop profile. Murky, medium length finish. thornecb (1735), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Jun 20, 2009 Pours deep gold into a lager glass. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Macro corn, adjunct and sour malt aromas. Crisp and grainy from front to back. Dry corn finish.
