Rating from 4/23/09 incorrectly placed under Zhigulevskoye (Moscow). A beer that has set in my cooler far too long, something about a liter of Russian lager in a plastic bottle has not pulled me in. Golden color with a diminished off-white head. Caramel, fresh wood, popcorn, and flour scents. Fairly heavy and lifeless feel. Glue and toasted walnut flavors. Fairly dry in the finish. Some more nutty flavors in the linger. A light lager with some interesting vienna components.

Somewhat similar to Yarpivo, the main disticnction behind this malt and yeast driven beer is its citrusy embellishment. Tasty with Russian cuisine - had around Nashville, Nice.

Gold pour, white head. Yep you guessed it...tons of corn, grain, cereal, muted hops and sweetness on the nose. Flavor is very simple...corn, malty sweetness, and more grain.

Comes in a huge 51 ounce plastic bottle like a Coke or Pepsi container. Pours a very pale brownish-gold color with a big thick and lasting white head. Aroma is wet grain and some hop spice. Taste is smooth, thin and dominated by corn mash. Some sweetness evident (bubblegum like?), but not as much as you might expect. Kind of on the dry side, yet balanced and refreshing. Nothing special, but a good lawnmower beer. Low ABC 4%.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with skunky notes of malt and brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of brewing cereal.

2 litre plastic bottle from russian shop in hillerød. about 1 month older than best before date. pours a clear yellow, with a very small white head. in the aroma i get sunburned beer, sweetness, honey, very slight sourness. flavor is actually well balanced pale lager, we got some bitterness, and some sweetness too. Tastes like "ordinary macro beer" but as one of the better of its kind. Could easily be an english macro, taste is in that direction. it will take me all day to finish this giant 2L bottle..(17 hours later..) just poured the last drop into my glass. Do i win a prize? 2L russian discount beer downed in respect for the rating process. lol.

Hm...I must be honest. The only reason I purchased this beer is because it came in a plastic "2-liter" bottle, with a plastic cap... While i don’t condone the unnecessary use of plastic containers, I like that it really stands out in a freezer...The taste is really quite interesting! Nice and flat, bland even, though lively enough to resonate with the beer drinker. I like this one!!
