While i don’t condone the unnecessary use of plastic containers, I like that it really stands out in a freezer...The taste is really quite interesting! Nice and flat, bland even, though lively enough to resonate with the beer drinker. I like this one!! bierkoning (6094), La Tropica, Netherlands

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2008 Zhiguljovskoje is a very clear light copper lager with a small white head that fades to a film. It has OK lacing. It has a sweet aroma, like brown sugar, maple syrup and honey. It’s light bodied and pretty watery. It has a very sweet flavor! There are notes of maple, honey, caramel and sorghum, but not really any hops. Hey, kids would appreciate this! It’s not too bad, actually. I bet it’d make good cooking beer. I got a big plastic 1.5 liter bottle for $1.98! robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

smell of roasted grain, malt, some citrus.
taste is somewhat sweet, grain, malt, lemon, ends oily and a slight tart bite to it, leaves a thick film on the tongue. zach8270 (2131), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is sweet and flowery with hints of wine, grass, corn, and very light hops. Flavor is light and sweet with a bit of a wine taste and a slightly bitter finish. A bit watery but very crisp. I was actually surprised at how good it was coming from a giant plastic bottle. McGarnigle (316), Rochester, New York, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Plastic bottle of 51 ounces (1.5 liters). Bottled March 5th to drink by Sept. 5th. Is this the same beer as Ochakovo Zhigulevskoe? Slightly brownish, very clear, dying head. This is more no-taste than bad-taste. Light, corny sweet with the tiniest hop presence. Grainy malts as well. Not as bad as I thought, but you don’t want to drink too much (cloying) or too warm. KnN (746), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 14, 2008 Pours a pale yellow with a big white fluffy long lasting head. Aroma is corn and pennies, a little skunky, very thin flavor.
As far as pale lagers go, this one is pretty average. Might as well drink just about anything domestic. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
