Jun 28, 2008 This brewer makes other beers far better than this. This is too malty without enough hops to balance the flavor. The nose is not skunky but is not pleasant either. No thanks.

Jun 14, 2008 In the 0.5 L bottle from HyVee CB. Pours a pale yellow with a huge frothy bulbous white head. Slight sulfurous aroma and a distinctive Saaz hop scent and taste. This is just a tad bit watery for my taste as compared to many Baltika beers. Pretty, but just too pedestrian. However, at $1.89 a bottle, I’m not complaining.

May 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a big bubbled white head. Aroma is just like the taste, cereal with honey. Sweet and mellow with a touch of toast. If you didn’t know this was a beer, you may not think it was. It may have the thinnest of bodies I’ve had in a long while.

May 18, 2008 Pour is golden yellow with a thin soapy white head...smell is sweet corn and slightly starchy, like a wet raw potato...thin watery mouthfeel...taste is lightly grainy and sweet with some luscious corn notes...blech....

May 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with some malts and hay. A pretty thin body covers a light fresh taste of grain, hay and pilsner malt. Easy to drink. Fairly good on a hot summer day.

May 4, 2008 Bottle@Home. Sweet corn and apple aroma but not unpleasant. Yellow color, white head, good lace. Very sweet for a lager, light bitter, grainy, hints of apple. Medium body and mouthfeel. Not really bad.
