Bangla Beer - its colour...the golden hue of the sun setting over the Bay of Bengal. Bangla Beer - its taste...a rich full flavour with an extraordinarily smooth taste. Chamotkar!"

Apple and cardboard aroma. Bitter walnut flavor with apple. Sad excuse for a beer.

Aroma is grainy with some apple in it. Clear, golden coloured with not much head (white). Some hops in it, some apple. Kind-a dirty taste. Ugly dry cardboard palate. What a crap.

It is good with curry (taste buds temporarily comprimised), but I wouldn’t chose to drink it otherwise. Golden coloured, mostly mild flavoured, bit of malt, touch of hops, some metal. Much better than Kingfisher, Cobra etc, but still not very good.

Bottled. Golden colour, no head. Sweet and grainy, some rice flavour. Low bitterness. Strikingly pointless.

Marked up as a beer from Bangladesh. Duh! Big head. Harsh maltiness. Perfumed.

Pissy lager colour. Skunky nose. Slightly sweet malty, perfumy taste. Good for only one thing drinking with curry. You can’t taste the stuff then!

Bottle, from Sainsbury’s. Gold, thin but longlasting white head and good soft (almost natural) condition. Clean nose with some low maltiness and just a hint of hop. Quite sweet and full bodied in the mouth with notes of honey and faint butterscotch. Some hop bitterness develops becoming chalky in the finish with a slight metallic edge.

Pale golden colour with a thick persistant white head. Pale malt aroma and a bit of fruit. Not bad, especially when paired with the curry that I’ve paired it with.
