Cask gravity at 3rd Wellington Beer Festival ’09, Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper gold. Malty aroma with some hops. Malty taste and some bitterness. So-so sessioner, but you’d tire of it.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Golden colour with a bubbly white rim. Wheat, straw and citrus are the name of the game. Rahter one dimensional. Straw as f**k in the finish. Erm... yeah.

Cask conditioned at The Lamp Tavern, Digbeth, Birmingham. Gold to amber beer with white head. Good dry malty bitter, biscuity with a restrained British type hop. Reasonable session bitter in a very decent pub, I can’t believe i have never visited this one before.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/4/08. Well-balanced amber session bitter, with a moderate off-white head. Biscuity malt and grassy hops with some fruit in the aroma and a decent bitter finish. Drinkable.
