Commercial Description:
Banks Beer, the beer of Barbados, is a premium pilsner style lager with a smooth, fresh aroma and a medium alcohol content. Banks is brewed from a pure classic blend of 2-Row British and Australian malted barleys deliciously flavored by Yakima Clusters and the noble Styrian Goldings aroma hops. It is however Barbados' water, naturally filtered through limestone rock, along with our own special strain of yeast, which give Banks Beer its unique Bajan character and distinctive quality. Consistently the #1 choice among beer drinkers in Barbados since it was first produced in 1961.

Jacksonville, Fl. - Total Wines - 12 oz painted bottle. Dark golden pour with a puffy white head. Solid wort-like aroma. Somewhat heavy flavor with some caramel accents and some sweet biscuit like maltiness. Tastes kind of like a malta. Thick enough mouthfeel. Better than expected.

Courtesy of Tony @ OTH. Pours clear golden with white head. roma is malty. Taste, just the typical caribbean lager, plenty of malts, some grains. Little touch of sugar (possibly cane), clean dry finish. Refreshing. Nothing special.

The aroma has incense, hay, grass, and some corn. The appearance is pale gold with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s consumable with minimum funk but still not one I want again.
