Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - October.
A clean, malt-accented beer with a rich amber hue, and a noticeably nutty aftertaste – A real belter of a beer.

Cask Conditioned at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen
Cloudy amber color; thin head. Some aroma of malt, yeast, earthy, manure. Medium body, malty, some residual sweetness, good bitterness (both quantity and quality); an impression of ripe apples. Strong final, still with some malt. A good bitter, sweether than the average, good English character.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy dark orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very malty. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of oranges, but also light metallic notes, light to a lightly bitter end. The body is a bit thin.

Cask (handpump) at the Minster Inn, York. A functional but uninspiring Midlands style best bitter - more malt than hop. Nutty overtones. Copper colour, tight sparkled head. A touch more body and flavour than the standard Banks’s Bitter. Bostin is actually a term used in the Midlands (whether it comes from Birmingham or the Black Country is open to debate) to show rapturous approval. I can’t go that far with this beer. Nothing wrong with it, and goes down quite well. Just a bit dull.

Cask handpull at Folkestone Wetherspoons. Mid brown colour with lasting bubbly beige head. Drinkable inoffensive malty bitter. Stronger choc malt than most bitters. It’s fine. Nice tangy hop on end. Better than I expected.

Cask conditioned @ Standing Order (JDW), Soton. Dark Copper. Clean malts and nutty crystal malt. Dusty bitterness starting at the back of the mouth and moving forwards to fill the mouth. Joined by almost cloying finish which wasnt to my taste and a bit odd as it was fairly dry. Some whiskeyish undertones.
