Chesnut with a creamy white lid. Non-metallic aroma including caramel, pine cone, even rosemary. Soft and biscuity with slight soapy, sultana and coniferous notes, caramel, Weetabix. Very reasonable beer from the can, retaining much of the subtle character of the cask version.

Dark amber in colour with a good sized foam off-white head. Hoppy with a slight toffee scent. Some slight carbonation. Bitter. Quite a dry finish. Hoppy, acidic & alround fantastic & well priced drinkability.

Appearance: copper color. Great head, beige, dense and very lasting. Aroma: to mocha, vanilla, caramel, cookies and maybe of nutty. Flavor: malty and candy start, later a light hints of vanilla, cappuccino, mocha and nut. Palate: light body and carbonation, silky texture. Remark: beautiful head made for the "widget".

Sötét barna szín,könnyen apadó hab és édeskés illat jellemzi.Íze is édeskés,karamellás de aztán érezni komló kesernyésségét is benne.Utóíze keserédes, malátás.Könnyen iható tömegtermék.

slightly caramel, with a bubbly texture and some weak hops, goes down real smooth, had this with dinner at a friends in England.

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear red-amber colour with a poor head; notes of sugar (burnt hops?) and hazelnuts; poor malt backbone and quite flat; dusty and short, poor finish

Can. Pours copperwith a diminishing white head. Biscuity and toffee malts dominate the taste but there’s some dry bitterness too and the palate is ok. Not bad for a mild in a can.

Nitrokeg, smooth at The Black Horse, Cirencester, Glocs. Brown with creamed head. Cardboard, dry thin mild, but with a touch of sweetness. Toffee caramel and bready. Fairly ropey.
