Sep 9, 2007 Blind tasting at sk8vikings porter / stout tasting, beer no 20. Pours dark brown to black with nice light brown head. Slight burbon and roasted malt aroma. Soft and slight sweet malty. Almost hvidt oels like finish soft and slight sweet finish.

Very dark brown colour. Thick light brown head. The aroma is richly nutty and chocolatey, holding a lot of promise. It’s got a full body, very rounded with lots of chocolate, nuts, woody hops and just a hint of roastiness. The finish is quite dry, and with lots of flavour. Highly enjoyable brew.

Feb 18, 2008 Bottle @ jbrus’s place. Strong aroma of chocolate, cardemom and coffee. Creamy, velvety flavor with coffee, milk chocolate. Lacks some body in the finish, but a quite likeable dry stout.
