Honestly only the second mild ale I have tasted but this seemed to have more more (and better) flavour to my previous experience. Very easy drinking and probably an easy seesion fit. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Bottle, courtesy of wickedpete, I believe. Clear dark bronze with a white ring around the glass. Light toastiness, earthy hops and a little woodiness in the nose. Starts with caramel, then earthy hops/light fruitiness - then, the flavor sort of fades into watery tastelessness. Ends with a tinge of toffee. Very light-bodied with moderate carbonation. Not bad, just a drinkin’ "table beer". kassner (463), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA

You need a lighthouse because this beer is really dark, almost port color. Nice medium head that holds together pretty well nice lacing and a faint malt odor. Earthu but a little too much carbonation. lemon bitter finish and not too sweet even at the start.
