Amber red with medium white head, no lacing. Werthers sweet aroma with very mild hops mixed in. Taste is smooth, not too much carbonation (on purpose or not?), mellow malty flavor, caramel, toasty, small bitterness at the finish. (thanks Paul K.)

Oct 3, 2008 22oz bottle, purchased at the brewery. Labeled "Brew 13". Pours hazy brown, capped with a moderate sized off white head. Aroma is on the sweet side with malt, grain, and caramel. Flavor is on the sweet side as well, with caramel, chocolate, nuts, and mild earthy hops. Very drinkable.

Sep 28, 2008 Bought this beer while in Bar Harbor on vacation. Pretty good beer. A nice hoppy ale with a reddish brown color.

Sep 26, 2008 Sample at the brewery. Honestly only the second mild ale I have tasted but this seemed to have more more (and better) flavour to my previous experience. Very easy drinking and probably an easy seesion fit.

Sep 14, 2008 (Bottle). Aroma is malty nuts and semi-sweet fruits. Reddish copper, light brown head. Flavor is characterized by nuts and some malt toastiness. Mild, a little watery, but overall pleasant.
