Imaena (243), Portland, Maine, USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottle @ Brewery 08’. Roasted matls and hint of nutty funk in the profile. Thin and watery body. decent beer that would go well in a heavy session. JohnQPublic (162), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jul 30, 2008 Pours dark brown, bit of a tan head. Aroma is a bit roasty and just a tad nutty. Taste is a bit of roasty malt, a bit nutty. Finish is just a bit nutty, maybe the tiniest hint of cocoa, watery. Mouthfeel is kind of thin, watery, carbonation seems just a bit off, comes close to dominating the flavor. mcox90 (342), Wilton, New Hampshire, USA May 17, 2008 22 oz purchased at Tulley’s in Wells Maine. Pours a reddish brown color with a 1/2" tan head. Some brown lacing. Malt & barley on the nose with a medium mouthfeel. Flavor was malt, barley, some sweet brown sugar and some nuttiness.
