The aroma of blueberries is present as soon as the beer is poured, but fades along with the head. Once settled, the small of blueberries is gone. Flavor is mildly of blueberry, but not as distinct as that initial aroma. Tart, citrus character that is very dry. Finish is clean, without any lingering blueberry. beerbill (1948), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2009 22 oz. bottle that my friend Joe brought back for me while on vacation. Pours a hazy gold with a moderate linen white head that quickly faded away and left no lace. Mild aroma of blueberry and some malt lurking in the background as well. Blueberry as a flavor is so strong and distinctive, I thought it was a bit weak in the aroma. Same for the flavor. Weak blueberry and some mild malt flavor as well. The berry fruitiness is quickly cut off by a somewhat dry finish. A little disappointing. Ferociousaurus (35), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Cloudy orange-gold pour. Decent head with decent lacing. Nose and taste is blueberry, period. Nothing in the way of malts or hops. Not much to it. Not bad, certainly not great. BVery (464), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2009 Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. Nose of blueberry, although it seemed to be derived from concentrate than from the real thing in fermenters. The palate was one that mostly featured the aforementioned flavor, but it wasn’t totally one-dimensional. Overall, not the best fruit beer I’ve ever had, but pretty solid. Frothy white head.Hazy amber colour, Seems smooth, with a rich flavour of blueberries. Bitter finish. vikingbeercbus (34), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 10, 2009 Bottle 12 oz. Pours copper and clear, sparkling head. Nose is very strong of blueberry, leads me to believe taste will follow. Surprisingly, taste is mild on the blueberry and heavy on the general berry. Tasted an hint of citrus, lemons. More beer and berry in general. Palate heavily carbonated, bitterness. Good for those who want a fruit beer without feel like you a drinking a dessert.
