Bottle. Medium amber body with a lasting ½ inch head. Nose-light berry, cereal, musty, musty. Taste-plastic, acrid, cereal, fake artificial sweetener, light blueberry. Malt and fake berry dominate. Not bad but unimpressive. Medium bitter aftertaste. Husky.

In the bottle from Inari Wines. This simply has an incredible aroma. Pours dark amber with a thick off white head. This smells like a blueberry scented guest soap. Has a nutty and berry-like flavor. It’s malty without being sweet. My best description is that it’s a brown ale with blueberries blended into it.

Sample from a bomber. Pours copper with a tan ring. Nose is amazing, full force blueberry ggoodness. Taste is far less wowing with a subtle blueberry and a much more pronounced bitter tone. Ok.

12 oz, bbe Nov 07. Clear copper-orange with a small head that tries. Aroma is pure berries. Flavor is initially berries, followed by creamy malt and acidic-sourish fruit flavor, finishing with some drying woody-earthy hops and maybe some British yeast. Light bodied, refreshing and tingly. This is a nicely balanced fruit beer that seems to be a bitter with berries.

(22oz bottle) Medium off-white head atop hazy violet-copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, blueberry, light bread. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some blueberry. Light-medium body. Ho-hum.

Light clear amber with medium white head. Wonderfully blueberry aroma - smells like blueberry pancakes. Taste is a little floral and, well, like weird blueberries I guess; almost like blueberries that are a bit past their prime. As it warms....it gets worse.

Blueberry is strong in the nose but not the flavor. A yeasty ale more than a larger taste. Not too sweet like so many fruit beers. Underrated.
